Saint Seneca in Ridgewood Supports Local Artists

My name is Yuka Anziano. I am half Japanese and half Italian. This is my store! It is called Saint Seneca. It has been built, literally, with the hands and support of all the people that I love. So many people, especially my boyfriend Leo have helped me tear down walls and built them back up. They have painted floors and windows, designed a logo, built shelves and display cases, merchandised the product, took photos and helped me rally when my steam ran out. This truly is a labor of love and so many years in the making.

My business is located on a sunny part of the street, tucked between a slew of other locally-owned businesses. Our mission is to sell hand selected, carefully curated items for your home, your babies, your friends, mothers, fathers, lovers and furry children. The store features handmade locally-made ceramics, jewelry, apothecary, pillows, throws, leather goods, books, toys, handmade pet products and so much more.

I would love to act as a brick and mortar for artists and designers who aren’t able to have their own store. The store will also house art openings and pop up shops.

I’m right on Cypress between Madison and Putnam, right next door to Fresh Taco. It’s just a bunny hop or two from Myrtle Avenue.

Come in, introduce yourself and lets be friends.

Yuka
